Never Give Up On Your Dreams featured image.jpg

Tim Walker was able to lead a life that many aspiring young animators dream of. He worked on famous cartoons such as Samurai Jack, The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, Static Shock, and other American cartoon television shows for more than 50 years. The Many Faces of Tim Walker featured image.jpg

Tim Walker is a veteran of the animation industry — having worked on many classic American cartoons, including Mickey Mouse, Batman, The Flintstones, the Smurfs, and many more. With more than 50 years of experience in the industry, Tim has never wavered from his passion for cartoons, which began at a young age. Despite challenges such as addiction and lateral Parkinson’s disease, which destroyed his ability to draw as the disease damaged his right hand, he has never given up and continues to draw today with his left hand. Though officially retired since 2014, Tim is still involved in animation projects. He can’t help it. It’s deeper in his bones than disease could ever be.

Recently, Tim has started selling Timmy Toons on this website as a way to make some extra money and share some of his art with people who like the style. You can think of the originals, prints, posters, etc. that Tim makes as, while not always a reference to classic animation, fully embodying the art style of Mr. Magoo and United Products of America (UPA) in general....

The Golden Age of American Animation featured image.jpg

The Golden Age of American Animation began with the popularization of cartoons with sound in 1928 through the late 1950s, early 1960s, when theatrical animation began to lose popularity and television animation — with more restricted budgets — took over. During this period, Walt Disney studios defined the era, with notable films including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Alice in Wonderland, and countless others.

Tim Walker is proud to be a part of the later years of the Golden Age of American animation — working on classic projects including Mr. Magoo, Flash Gordon, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, and more! Today, Tim focuses a lot on his personal passion project: Timmy Toons. Timmy Toons are posters, prints, and original pieces of art in cartoon style made by Tim Walker and exploring the possibilities of the art form. Inspired by Golden Age animation, Timmy Toons are a fantastic way to show your love for classic animation with unique pieces by one of the legends of 20th-century animation!
